ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
With a safety & health career spanning more than 30 years, Mark Norton has worked in various roles in the safety discipline. Initially, starting as a flight medic and safety specialist for the United States Coast Guard. At the peak of his military duty Mark sustained a career ending injury. He then transitioned into a career lasting more than two decades with the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety & Health (state OSHA). Working as a compliance officer, consultant, manager and eventually, Assistant Director. Mark is an accomplished speaker on the subject of OSHA and occupational safety and health, making presentations all over the country.
Mark is a faculty member at the University of California at San Diego, OSHA Training Institute and has published two books on the topic of Occupational Safety & Health in addition he has received multiple awards for his work in this field.
